OTT Releases Today On 30 April 2026

Today is a rather calm day for new releases on OTT platforms in India. Most big drops of the week happened earlier, but a few fresh titles have arrived for those looking for something new to watch this Thursday.

On Prime Video, the Tamil political drama TN 2026 (also known as Thanga Natchathiram) is now streaming. It deals with power struggles and local politics in a straightforward manner. The film is also available on Aha and other regional platforms.

Netflix has added Man on Fire, a new series based on the well-known story. It is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Some viewers are already discussing the seven-episode adaptation online.

On JioHotstar, the Telugu web series Batchmates has premiered. It follows four first-year engineering students navigating college life, friendships, and everyday pressures. The show is dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada as well, making it accessible to a wider audience.

Another small release is the Tamil talk show Jolly O Gymkhana on SunNXT.

Apart from these, the last week of April brought several South Indian titles across languages. Films and shows like Happy Raj, Prathichaya, and Band Melam landed on different platforms, covering romance, political drama, and comedy.

The bigger international and pan-India releases such as Apex (Charlize Theron starrer), Marty Supreme, and Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 came in the previous days. No major new Hindi series or big-budget pan-India original dropped exactly today.
