Vikram plays the lead role of Krishna, a man with intellectual disability. Sara Arjun plays his young daughter Nila. Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul, Nassar, Santhanam and Sachin Khedekar are in important roles.

The story revolves around Krishna, who has the mental age of a child. He raises his daughter Nila with love and care. When a custody battle arises with his former employer, Krishna fights in court to keep his daughter with him.
